Who has the best deals on over transom headers?I'm looking for BBC or SBC headers prefer twisties.Any good deals new or used.I'm new to this chevy stuff.

Used BBC headers in decent shape are pretty hard to come by. SBC headers are even harder.
Your best bet is probably buying a new set.

I've got a set of OT Bassets (non-twisty) that are in usable but not pretty shape. I have the water lines also. $50 plus shipping and they are yours.

I have some non twistie short collector bassets that i would sell you. $325. Good condtition. A little surface rust in non obvious places. Let me know....

I wonder if short collectors will work on a TX-19?
Is that an oldstyle long droopsnoot?
If so how is it working for you ?

I had a set of twisties they look pretty cool but set a little close to the transom on the I had and could not put the splash guard as high as I wanted.I bought a set of short stright Bassetts for my new project.I was going to have Bassett cut mine even shorter than they come but he was like are you sure it will dump all the water in the back of the boat so that killed that.I think the shorter they look the better they look.
I say twistie smisty buy the short strights it will look more racey

i've got a set of Bassett short collector race headers for a BBC. they are ceramic coated a dull grey color because i didn't run water through them for most of last summer. There's no rust and they are in excellent shape. You can see a pic of them in the newest issue of Hot Boat Magazine. They are on my red Rogers boat. I've also got a bassett t-fitting and the water lines and would let them go for 350 bucks.

Tell ya what. If I don't have to ship them, I will let mine go for $275.....
