Being that I'm a newbie just thought I'd ask for input, don't matter if it's good or bad, about Omega Boats. Thinking of buying one.
Thanks, Oxnard

Omega was my first boat. It's a good starter boat, had it for 16 years and never had any problems with it.

I am in the process of finishing a stringer up restoration on a 21 ft Omega. It is a good boat, rode well before the resto, will be better after. Nothing starter about my Omega, only the best going into her now:D

Well, she is a 1979. She has a 454 which has been worked up to 545 Hp according to the desk top dyno and my machine shop, a panther drive with a diverter. Gel coat by Havasu Barney. I am looking for an honest 70 mph and I think it will be reached, it did an honest 60 with a bone stock 454(320 hp).
