Condolence's go out to my lovely wife Janice, her brothers Jerry (V-DRIVE VIDEO), Jim (UCLAHATER), and there mother Sherri, for the passing of there Father & Husband Gerald Griffin. He passed on last evening after his long battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. He was a loving family man that loved taking boat trips with his family to such places as Parker & Lake Mohave, and taking kids from there Church to Lake Elsinore for a day of water skiing. He loved tinkering around the garage on his replica Cobra, his boat, Jim's new Biesemeyer, and most of all helping his friends with there projects. I want to think he's in a better place now with no more problems, and he's hooked up with my Father and there HIGH FIVING each other on the TROJAN'S National Championship ;) , discussing boats, and of course, there familys. The passing of a loved one is always difficult, but I know he's finally free of all his pain. God Bless all of you. :)

JERRY, It was only last week I was over at your house, and during that visit you shared much about your father, that I did not know before then. Such as his cobra project , boat projects and how he added on to the house and built that really cool garage with his own hands! I regret only meeting him once and that was at a boat race in long beach while he was doing somthing he loved with his family. And that is how I will remember him! I know you kept the fireplace going for him because it was somthing he loved,even though it may be easier,cheaper to use the heater. You and your mother took very good care of him AND IT SHOW'S!

I got to know your Dad at the V-Drive bash at Needles when I helped him anchor his boat in the nasty current and we talked for a long time. We talked about boats and family, I know he loved his family very much. I am glad I got the chance to meet him.

A big thank you from all of us Griffins for all of your Prayers and Support. Our Dad was diagnosed with Lou Garregs Disease one year ago. It was very hard to watch our dad deteriate in the way that he did. It was time for him to move on and not suffer any more. I will miss him very much and I cant wait till I can see him again in the afterlife. He loved going to the V-Drive events and considered many of you friends. Thanks again to the V-Dirive family you guys are all special people:)
