Need to replace axle/brakes/springs on
the VM trailer that my 75' 20.5 Sanger Cruiser came on. Are they still in business?
If not, is there a good source for parts in N. CA? Would I be better off
to replace this trailer? Suggestions, opinions and
information much appreciated..:D :D

I just bought new axels w/o brakes 4" drop (added 20 some dollars to the price) no springs ,3500 lbs axels from:
Redneck Trailer Supplies Fowler CA
(559) 834-4655
$141 hub to hub
staight axels with springs were $140 something.
they also have a special on torsion axels asm. No leafs needed. $95 +/-. I couldnt' use them because of boat clearence issues with the skaggs on the hull. When the leafs are removed the axel asm would mount directly to the frame. Could have remounted a little diffenetly though but wanted to finish trailer a little sooner. david

I had some work done to my trailer by DHM in Sacramento, they were pretty reasonable and the work turned out real well.
Here's a link to DHM

Good luck

Thanks for the info guys. Mohavekid, looks like we have the same boat. The link to the place in Sacto is just what I was looking for.

Maxey, same boat, mine is an 1982 jet.
Is yours a jet or v-drive?
Can you post some pics? I'm always interested in seeing another Sanger Mini-Cruiser.
Just a note on DHM, they work some funky hours. I think they were open from 5am to 2pm or something like that.

I don't have any digital pics now, but will try for the near future.
