1980 19' Daytona Elimator Drag Boat Hull. Completely set-up for race. Ran NJBA by Harold Bruce. Blue printed bottom and Berkely race pump. must sell 8,000.00
I'm no expert ;) but it appears to be a river race boat type as apposed to a full out race rig as described above. Back seat, saddle tanks, no pop off valve, no calgo (sp?) steering. Looks pretty dang clean though for the most part. If it was layed up medium to heavy, it shouldn't have too many stress cracks.

Thats the boat. Thanks for the pic. Anyone see this boat up close, or see it run?

Not a bad price, but im not sure id consider it a race boat. 2 bench seats, offset steering and splash guard do not belong on most race boats.

Why not? Are you looking for a tunnel now, or a CP? I think that boat Todd put up looks pretty good, in the photo anyways. And for the price, didn't sound to bad.
Do you think your gonna have something going in Blythe this year? Would be cool to have another Eliminator in the crowd. To many damn Rogers!

I think Bense was looking for a placecraft, gullwing or daytona. I think this one is worth taking a look at. I agree with HB, no more rogers.. :D
Does anyone remember seeing this boat at an NJBA event? I dont seem to remember seeing it, althought I do remember seeing some daytonas with similar colors, but not in Harolds pit. Just curious....cs19

They are cool hulls. :D I think every rogers thats left should be restored and kept around, they are classics. I just like tunnells and gullwings personally.
Ill be watching for you v-bottom guys, i know you all have tricks up your sleeves for this summer. :D

There was a texas tunnel old school race boat on ebay out of texas for $4800.00 I don't think he got any bids and the auction closed. It looked like the set up was from the 70s or early 80's by the jet and nozzle combo.
