460 bellhousing problem

We bought a 76 tahiti last year. The problem is I cannot find a replacemnt 3-point bellhouing for this 460 that fits. Its a berkely jet pump. But all of the bell housing I have managed to find are too short andwi not mount to the jet pump.
Am I fighting a lost cause here? Shoul I just pay the money and switch to a 4-point mount?

How short? I am aware of a simular problem with a chevy, and someone crafted profiled spacers to fit between the block and the bellhousing. About 3/4 to an inch...........Otherwise call Jim, squirting thunder, the Ford guy....MP
