I know I have asked this before but I can't remember or find the answer.
I bought this Sanger project boat as you see it in the pick. I need to know what model Berkley pump I need to buy for this boat!
Anybody know?

I think they Started with the JC, then Optioned up from there.

Yup,
Any JC, JG, JI pump will work just fine. You'll have to source the little rubber gasket that seals the transom to the bowl, but other than that, nothing really different than a standard JC/JG/JI installation. Nice boats with a good backround.
Good Luck,
Chris

I have a 77 Sprint Jet and it came with the JG. Its had some modifications with an Agressor impeller and bowl, but still works great.
P.S. Are you sure that hull is a 77, looks like a 78 due to the non concave bottom?

I thought Sanger used a JG or JC intake then did some mods to it like machining off where a shoe would be and so on?There was some really nice pics of a bubbledeck Sanger a while back showing what it looked like from Sanger and what it looked like after MPD did some work on it.

That was Sanger Mikes boat, the pics are/were in the image center somewhere.
Heres a pic of a Sanger that was done by Hi-Tech.

Thanks guys! That is what I was looking for! I actually have one of the setback pumps but really don't want to put the time or money into this boat in order to use it.
Anybody have a source for the seal I need?
Any pics of these boats would be cool also!:D

If memory serves me, the boat came with a berkeley. It used a round transom ring and it had what they called a boxed keel intake. The intake was bolted in from the bottom rather than from the inside. The intake was very large.

What is the difference in the JC and JG?
Is the metal "trim ring" that is flush against the transom a special sanger part? I guess versus the square Berkley transom plate.

Basically the same, the JG you can Bolt a Droop Snoot too.
I think it was HB Jet who had a JC and converted it to a JG ($325. ?) there was a Thread here on it.
Don't know 'bout the Chrome Ring, think it was for Looks and you can Install without it.
