Used to drain 40 gal a day...until I figured out there was a fuel leak and I was dumping gas overboard (don't tell the EPA);)

Mine will run about 100 per day. Going from Havasu Springs to the channel and back will run me about one tank (26 gal). No complaints on my end, cuz I didn't buy the boat for economy :)

Shit, I thought my old Jet was bad--guess I shouldn't complain anymore:D
New boat will use about 10-12 gal for the same run now...abeit probably a few mph slower than you...running around 48-4900rpm, 58mph approx.

He he. Well Ziggy, I guess I should clarify. When I did that run, I was having an awful lot of fun with the new "509". Lot's of starting, stopping to have a coldie, starting again, full throttle fun. I might get better economy if I had a lighter foot, but I figure, WFT :D

Right on man, thats the best way to travel the lake IMO- Its pretty rare I do the run all in one swoop but I had just done it in the new boat since it was January and not much else was on the lake, plus it wasn't exactly water lounging conditions(icy water). Tell you what though, my face felt frostbitten after taking that ride:D

Mine holds about 8 Gallons. It uses 5 gallons to go 5 miles at 7300 rpm at Sea Level. It costs $40 to fill up at $5.00 per gallon.

Holds about 60 gallons. I have burned through about $250 in a weekend before. Usually a lot less though. To busy drinking in the party spots to burn too much gas!

Boat holds 80 gallons, and with the price of gas last year $2.25 for super, it costs $180.00 to fill up. If I am a good boy, that can last me all weekend. If I push it, I will go through that in less than one day. All depends on how hard I run it. Anything below 3500rpm I get decent gas milege. After 3500 it sucks it down!

Mine takes 40 gallons- around $80. Stock 350 so I get pretty good mileage. Usally lasts through a whole weekend of tearin around & skiing.

My boat holds 20 gallons, but I can easily burn 40 gallons in one day.

We hold 100 gallons and I'm anxious (read scared) to find out how much it burns with my 496HO. I hope to put a good 10 hours on it over Valentines day weekend to get it broke in.

90 gallons, 496HO runs all weekend Springs to the Channel and back.
Both days go like this,
1. I drive
2. I park
3. I drink
4. I get sober
5. I drive back.
Sometimes number "4" takes til Tuesday of the following week.
