Let's see. I got my little termite problem taken care of. For future reference, do not fill your boat with driftwood and carry it accross the lake :( Just buck up and buy some wood;)
Installing a new trim pump right now!!

we got an '75 Rogers 18' from a local guy that had totally gutted the boat and put the old engine in a different boat so we are putting a new engine in, had the pump rebuilt by MPD, new gelcoat and paint by Todd, redoing the interior, rewiring the entire boat, then there is the assembly. Lot's and Lot's of assembly. I guess it would have been easier to say what we weren't doing to the boat:D LOL!!!!

Finishing the mold, finishing the interior patterns, finishing all of the billet, sizing the trailer, getting the engine delivered...

I've got a spot where my stitching came loose..... from bow to stern! Tomorrow morning it goes to A1 for all new upholstery and carpet. The only old thing left in the boat is ME!
My trailer will still look like crap, but if I redid it now, what project would I have NEXT year?

New intake manifold gasket, rebuild carb with a bunch of new goodies! Some new plumbing from the pump. Possibly weld up a bracket on the ski tow for a flag. 3x5' skull:cool:
Oh yeah, and weld up the gas tank so it doesn't leak fuel and catch my boat on fire:rolleyes: Maybe I'll get a little better gas mileage too;)
And do some serious cleaning of the floor and bilge...damn oil leak got shit everywhere.

Lets see, I have to go pick it up in Parker and bring it home. I haven't seen it in months! Do the regular routine maintenance, and possibly a new sound system.

Thought I might put some gas in it. :D
First season in years that the engine hasn't been scattered all over the garage floor. Guess this is what happens when you let a pro put it together!

Getting blown. Rebuilding motor, Clearing and pollishing the floor fully diss assembled to pollish. New scoop, rebuilt pump. Same as last year except it is staying shiny side up for the whole time. Boating requires little or no maintenence.

Major engine rebuild, new interior, new controls, windshield, new swimstep, new gauges, new sound system. Already put in new stringers, new floor, rebuilt pump. If I have time I will paint the trailer and put on my new wheels, but don't think I will get that far. Somewhere in the middle of all this I will have killed about 10 cases of beer.:D

I need to find some Orange County storage place so I can go get the boat, bring it down here from up north and finish up:
The stereo install
Engine tune up (had the parts since I bought the boat)
Replace the trim switch
Rewire the dash board
Color sand and polish the gel coat (know anyone around the OC that does a good job of this?)
Fix up the brakes on the trailer
Then....
Ready to rock
:D
