Yeah...that was Defreese's boat. I think they hopped up the Teague 1000's for that weekend. The boat looks like it hooked pretty hard when it let go at 140MPH or so...but didn't roll.

Never noticed rear view mirrors on those beasts before :D Not sure how effective they are at those speeds with all that water around them but that boat uses 'em to see the rest of the field.
I love when the video cuts away to the boat as it roars by the camera - the sound those motors make is uniquely awesome!

In that first vid where they're all idling out of the no wake zone...that's what sold me on hot boats. Gramps took me to see the offshore races when they came to Ventura. Seeing, hearing, and smelling the horsepower and listening to the choppy idle of those machines parading through the harbor-----GAWD DAMN! I got goose bumps!:D :D :D :D :D :D
