ItÂ’s 2004 and time to get the word out about this yearÂ’s Classic Boat Beach Bash. The event will be held the weekend of August 14th (Friday the 13th- Monday the 16th) once again at the newly renovated Avi Hotel and Casino. A full itinerary will be posted on the eventÂ’s website at www.classicboatbeachbash.com (http://www.classicboatbeachbash.com), with additional updates and real time information found on the event message board at www.classicboatbeachbash.com/forums (http://www.classicboatbeachbash.com/forums).
Because there are always questions about how to sign up and register for your rooms, here is the run down on how to get setup for the event.
Step 1. Log onto www.classicboatbeachbash.com (http://www.classicboatbeachbash.com)and click on the “register” link on the left hand side of the page.
Step 2. Fill out the registration form and submit the information online.
Step 3. Call the Avi at 1-800-AVI-2WIN
Step 4. When you get an answer, tell them you would like to book a room with the Classic Boat Beach Bash group in August. Please refer to group code “CLASBB” to ensure that you are booked with the group.
**Special Note** For this year, we should be booked into the new wing overlooking the beach. If you only need a king size bed, you will get a room overlooking the beach. If you require a 2 queen bed room, you will still be in the same wing but on the other side of the hall with west facing windows. Be sure to specify the style of room you need so we can best utilize the booked rooms. There are 35 queen and 40 king bedrooms available so the sooner you book, the better your odds of landing what you want.
Step 5. Let them know how many days you would like. Friday and Saturday room rates are at a discounted $69/night, while Sunday evening is a super low $19/night. Because the rates went up this year, our continuation of the $69/night rate is actually a deeper discount than what we received last year. :)
Step 6. Get your confirmation number, be nice, say thank you, and start jonesing for August!
!!!While the registration deadline is still a couple months away, last year we had some procrastinators that ended up missing the deadline. While we were able to pull some strings and get them the discount, it wasn't the desired scenario and canÂ’t be relied upon for this year. By having a large group register with the Avi EARLY we have more influence when it comes to requesting special accommodations etc!!!

that was me and disco i made him some battery trays and i brought them to him on the beach and the beach lady told us we had to take them away.
Randy, the dates did change but its still the second weekend of august. ;) we wanted to keep the same weekend next year it will be back to a lower date. lol
chris got told he couldtn put his carb back together while his boat was on the beach. lol what was he suppose to do float till it go fixed.:rolleyes:

Anyone have any hookups at EZUP? We need to upgrade to a slightly larger canopy.
And as a side note, recent discussions with the sponsors have been very interesting. All I can say right now is that some people are stepping up far beyond what we expect/ask, and ultimately there will be some very stoked guests at the CBBB in 04.

I just spoke with dave from Noss machine and he is sending me a new noss head with new design domes to try out. So far they have had very good success with them. I got a set of 19's and a set of 18 cc domes (race gas only domes) I should have them this weekend.

Have you guys ever talked to Racers Edge in Riverside? He builds and does work on Banshees. He nakes his own cyclinder and head for them also.

After he figgured out how to ride, the bike did pretty good. :D :D :D Thanks for keeping him pointed in the right direction with your advice on BansheeHQ. The bike is running well now and I'd bet it stays together nicely for the next couple of seasons.
On to more important questions, are you going to be at the Avi in August so we can shoot ya a silver or two?

i found out what did my motor in the in the first place . but after some good testing it runs bitchen. i like my noss head a ton ( still 22cc domes) but who cares. it runs pretty damn nice . i went for the anodized one it looks pretty sweet cause every thing on my bike is blue. hell i even did my silencers on my toomys

What did you end up doing in the first place? Its no big thing at all. Same thing that goes on here. I know the banshee's and most 2 strokes pretty well. 4 strokes are another story all together. I should have this head installed this weekend so I will want to get out to glamis real soon. I was just out there, but when you get new parts you can't wait to go again. I got the black anodized sent out.
I probably will not make the CBBB deal. I don't have a boat, and will not have one together by then. The only boat I have to use can not run that part of the river, so I will probably end up spending most of my time at our place in havasu this summer. Plus I drink Bud light ;)

Last year we stayed into the middle of the next week and it was great.
Way less people, hung out with Old Rigger for a while and enjoyed the river in a less crowded manner.
We're staying at least thru Monday this year and will probably end up staying until Saturday.:D
