question for you, on a blown motor you think that because the incoming charge in being forced into the cylinder and using the low pressure created by the piston going down it puts more force on the crank and drives the other pistons that are on the exhaust stroke up faster and forces the exhaust out a little faster?

Who says there is no such thing as a stupid question.:p
Just messin w/ you.:D
Personally, I don't think so.

That's a good one, never thought of it that way. Since we have boost pressure in the intake I'd have to say yes. But it would seem a small amount since boost pressure in the manifold and thus the pressure created against the piston on the intake stroke wouldn't be that high. Of course the real power for pushing the other pistons up and down come from the firing cylinder and how full of air fuel mixture it is.

How about this!
The boost pressure makes the low lift flow higher (easier to get the good gasses in) and keep them in before the + pressure in the rising piston overcomes the boost pressure!?

Yeah Mike I buy that.
