Was just ordering a couple barrels of C16 and found out 76 is no longer making race gas so it VP only now and its hard to find,so ya all better order it early this year ,I just found 1-55 gal drum in Sacramento and reserved it, I just use it once in a while for speed runs.I wonder if 110 will still be avaiable at the pump in Havasu this year ????

There is a commerical fuel place in my town and they sell 110 and 115 Citgo. I didn't here about 76 not selling 110 anymore, who told you this.

No more 76 race fuel in CA either. Sundance Mobil has VP 110. I've been running F&L 111 in my buggy with no problems. Delivered to my door at $4.50/gal.

I went to buy 76 110 for my buggy and my dealer told me that 76 lost the contract with nascar as the official race fuel that is why they are not going to make it anymore.

Well that sucks that 76 lost the contract. The 76 in Havasu used to sell race gas at pump and I think that was 100, so I wonder about that. And I know it was alot cheaper than $4.50 a gallon.

go to the vp racing fuels website and it will help you a dealer. We bought a couple drums of racing fuel and they delivered it.

Chevron/Downs Commercial fueling has Sunoco 110 at the pump off of Magnolia in Corona. That is sorta like the Chicago Kid outa New York who was from Boston that fought outa Atlanta (sorry, that was a butchered Airplane quote)
FYI
VP octane ratings are different - their fuels are typically 4 units higher in octane. So VP 110 would be similar to everyone else's 114.
Oh yah, VP in Wildomar won't sell - I think it is actually a salesman's home...but I have not visited it. I sent them an e-mail and they pointed me to the Auto Doctor in Temecula or to Elsinore Motor Sports (EMS) in Elsinore.

I use Trick Racing Fuel 110 Blue. No problems whatsoever finding it in the Sacramento Area.

I think the biggest problem with 76, (I used it for a while), is that when you buy it from a standard gas pump, it is pumping it up from a large undergroud storage tank. Racing gas is much more aromatic than standard fuel, so it evaporates more easily. As the fuel vaporizes, it leaves behind the red dye that is put into it. I used to get it from Downs in Corona, (who pumped it from an underground tank), and in the summer time the fuel would be so red, it would stain everything it touched. Hence, inconsistence. VP from a sealed drum works well for me.

Downs CFN in Temecula sells just about all grades of Sunoco Racing, either from the pump or by the pail/drum.
