Thanks,
Made a second one to help Jake on the setup time. I left the second one with the cloverleaf pattern. I re-ran it yesterday with the cutouts so it weighed in at less than a ton.

Hey wsuwrhr. What is the least amount of thickness you can make a carb spacer at a 4 degree angle for dominators.I bought 2" ones and then had them machined down but the height is to tall.My carbs sit sideways and i want to get them level on the intake.Let me know. Thanks allen.

I have a dart tunnel ram and the top is a 1/4" plate aluminum. It is not cast like some other types. My carb adapters are at 5 degree right now.I think i could go 3-4 degree and get the height down.It makes mounting a scoop difficult.I had to weld a spacer on my rear scoop hole to make it line up.If not the rear carb had a spce between the scoop and carb.

Opps it is 9 in.I want two brackets like the N20 brackets but flat on the bottom to bolt it to an alum plate through the bottom .

Can you take a picture and post it? I think it would be better to machine the intake or make a new top, wouldn't be that hard.
I am just throwing out ideas.

Each degree you reduce the angle, you will get approx 1/8 lower on the HIGH side of the angle. Make sense?
I can cut them down as far as you want.

Here is a side veiw. This is without the spacers. You can see how the top plate is.If we made a new top plate it would be to tall by the time it was at the rear.It would be 1/4 inch in front and like 4" in the back.:( .http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/521/1131IM000194-med.jpg

Here is a pic.You can see the spacer for the scoop and see the spacers on the carbs.Got any ideas?http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/521/1131DSCF0032.JPG

Enough spacer in the front to make it level, and a machined two incher in the back should make them level, I am guessing from the picture.
The different plenum volumes would give different signals to the carbs though.
If you just wanted them level, that would be easy to do, but they need to be level, and both carbs need to be at the same height, right?

Do you make some type of bracket to mount the morse cable end on a tunnelram application. My kit comes with everything except that peice.I have to run the cable up at mount at carbs.I want to run it low with their linkage.I want to do this for i can mount a fiberglass scoop on the boat and have it sit over the tunnelram.Right now i cant because the scoop hits my cable. If the cable where at the the base of the tunnelram it would work.

Right now they are level.I just wanted to get the height down a little bit.To make the carbs sit the same height the back needed to be 1 1/4" higher.I want to make both carbs function right.I thought if i took out some of the dergree it would bring them down.I dont like the hieght diffrence between the front of the spacer and the rear.

For a sideways mount, usually you use a bellcrank setup that attaches to the intake flange on the head. it would be easy to make a bracket and run the cable to it.

It looks to me like you have too much UP angle of the motor to make the carbs work/look right.
I agree with you there, the height difference will look funny.
You say the carbs are level now?

Carbs are level.I have a meirsch 5 degree low pro intake. The stanadard berkely is 4 degree. My motor sits way low in the boat and is in at 5 degree instead of the normal 4 degree.I didnt run the spacers at first and kept having float problems. Now they work great. But if i went to a 3 degree angle spacer i think i could be alright.
