Off Topic, Need Computer Help...

Ok going to try and make this as simple as I can. My g/f's computer (RVRGIRL) has this administrative sign on window that pops up right before logging onto windows. First off need to get that window to go away so that when she turns on her computer she'll be able to just hit the power button and the computer will load windows to the desktop. That's the way my computer is and works fine. The problem is that some kinda administrative program is running and she's unable to do any kinda of system restore and can't even download the never version of AOL instant messenger. Anyone have any ideas? I'd apprieciate some help on this one. Thanks....

Ok here is what my computer wiz wife says to do to get rid of that login box.
Go to the start menu
Go to setting and then go to the control panel
Click on the Network icon
Highlight the client for Microsoft networks
In the drop down menu box make sure it says Windows login
Click Ok and then you have to restart the computer
I hope it works for you because the above is what she did to get rid of my login box.

He does computer stuff for a living and he should be able to help you out.

might want to post which OS you have. If you have XP then you would to only have her account as the only account. XP has a profile for each user account.
