Out of the blue today I get a phone call from a head hunter that needs a senior IT person at a large winery near me and wants to know if I can be there for an interview this afternoon and if it goes well start on Tuesday!
I need some luck today!

I got the job! :D Yippe!
I will be working for a major brand name winery in northern CA. Not a little winery but a large premium label, family owned since the early 1900’s.
I hope this is a good fit, you never know for a while but the person leaving was on good terms and said it was time to move on.

I am from Sonoma... what winery?
PM me if you want. I know a lot of people up there in the industry to hook you up with.

My Uncle worked in a winery for a while, well till he died on the job. Appearently he fell into one of the vats of wine and drowned. The coroner told my aunt that he took 10 hrs to die and my aunt asked why it took so long to drown. The doctor said that it appears that it took so long because he had to get out 4 times for a piss.:D
