I was wondering what some of you guys thought.
Should we leave the back of the seats (the bucket) white?
Rick was thinking of some flames.
And how should the scoop be painted?

Red flames on the seats, and I think the scoop looks great how it is.....err, 1 of a kind, unique!;) :)

bottom of the shells white, top blue with small version of flames.

Split the white and blue on the seats with flames and same for scoop white on the bottom and blue on top with small flames down the side.

I'd leave the upholstery white(smart move when its hot), paint the shells the blue with a few flames licking around them(not up and down) and do the same thing with the scoop. At the very least do everything in blue without the flames

White seat backs and loose the scoop a sanger of that vintage would have ran velocity stacks or a oval Dan Olson scoop with a tunnel ram . ;)

I like the flame ideas, my boats got a back seat so im thinkin mirrors on the back of the seats or cup holders lol

I'd do the seats to match the deck. Then the scoop done to match the sides. IMO when the seats (2) start getting to wild it tends to take away from the rest of the boat. Leaving them white looks like.....#1. Painter was to lazy to do them :D
#2. Couldn't come up with an idea.
#3. Ran out of cash.
Now I know your doing them so # 1 & 3 don't apply here. :D :D

So whats the verdict?. White..White/ Blue/& flames.. Blue/ &Flames.. Just wondering.

The verdict? I talked to Rick.
Sounds like the scoop will be like the deck. Cobalt blue with some flames underneath.
The seats, I like the idea of spliting the back. Bottom half white, top blue. Divided by a few flame licks. Like the sides of the boat.
The things we do for blood...;)
