I have seen this boat up close and it is super, super clean.

Wish I had the closer pic's of it. Original gelcoat in excellent shape, parquette floor, solid hull. I still think about this boat and still bum on being short on cash when it came up for sale.

A buddy of mine has one. It's now powered by an 871 blown BBC, but it used to have a 500 hp Ford in it. He was running just a tick or two under 80 mph with it. Pump hadn't really been worked at all, not sure what impeller he was running. It did have a droop and diverter on it.
Lakes is right, this baby's super clean. Drop a motor in it and run.
Man I wish I had the cash. There have been some really excellent boats for sale at very fair prices this winter. Missed em all!

Give aztommy a call Pat. I know he's been looking for a clean used boat and yours certainly fits the bill. He posted up above on this thread. His number is on there too.

Its never too far when your going to buy a boat. Its an investment, and if you settle for something less, your going to be dissapointed and put way more hours into fixing something else instead of a simple weekend drive.

On puhleeze! AZTOMMY if you want an exceptional boat, it's gonna take a lot more than cash to get one!
I just spent THOUSANDS more than what is being asked for this boat (also less engine), and I drove damn-near 1200 miles to make the deal.
You want a good quality boat? Then make the effort. Step up.

jake same owner my son bought my tahiti from me minus the engine and he bought the 454 that big proppa was selling.
so i am going to install my 454 into the southwind and run it
this summer. and for the v-drive flu still got it REAL BAD, besides
as they say 2's fun but 3's a charm.

hey wait a minute mike, i resent that remark:D
actually spent a bunch of time this winter cleaning my old deal up, since performance seems to be ok. i do have to say though that it's easier to keep 'em clean if they're not in the water:D :D
did you ever get your impeller problem worked out?
