I was just sittin here watchin a good ole flick staring the late great John Candy, and I had a question.
Does anyone have any info on the V-drive "Suck My Wake" that was in The Great Outdoors? That was a sweet boat, and I'd llike to know what became of it.
TIA

That movie was filmed at Bass Lake here in California, this thread has been talked about before, you can probably do a search and find it. From what I remember from the thread, they had two boats for the film, the Suck My Wake boat is still in the area from what I have read. Great movie.

Suck My Wake was a 19', all-glass Miller built in 1971 in Santa Maria. It was owned by a friend of Jim Miller. The owner moved to Bass Lake area, the boat was bought by the movie company and pretty well trashed during the filming of The Great Outdoors.
