Jack McClure in Hot Rod Magazine

I don't know if anyone else noticed, or if it's even the same Jack but in the March 2004 Hot Rod Magazine on page 59 featuring the Turbonique drag axle is a Z16 Chevelle with his name on the door. (picture #1, circa late 1965) Any idea?

Those axles were wild but I doubt they would fly with any sanctioning body these days.:D
