I know to many river girls...take a few to the river and the next thing you know their friends want to go, next thing you know is you have 7-10 girls. What luck this old fat ugly dude has:D You game for sunday? make sure Eric has a "Kitchen Pass" I wouldn't want him to get into trouble with the Boss

 I can't make it Sunday I have a coaching camp that day in the morning that I have to go to. But if you guys come back and go to the yard house for drinks I can meet you down there. I will PM you with my cell so you can give me a call if you stop by the Yard House when you guys get back from Catalina. My boat will be in the shop until next week, just having some items added to it. A friend of mine (Marcus) will be riding down with you guys in his Magic. :frown:  As far as March 18-21, I will be in Phoniex on Business so I cant make that trip either. But any other trip I will be there.

Hey kevnmcd, Mike, MarkyMark.....sorry I missed you guys....I was on the island 15 minutes looking for you guys and I turned around and there you guys were (leaving).
Nick, great catching up with you guys. Sorry I could not keep up with you (Fast Track) Lavey guys on the return trip back :-( Remember my rig is set up for lov'n :D What was that huge cloud of smoke in the harbor. We could see the flames 10 miles out.

The pic was taken on the pier. Just to the right (in the pic) was the docks for the tour boats (i.e. Catalina Express). Does that help orient you?

Yeah, That helps. I was looking for the big mooring bouys that are to the left of the pier.;)

Had a great time yesterday with everyone at the Island. Kevin & Mike thanks for the escort to and from. The Lavey guys all thought they were driving the race boat as they tried to keep pace with it. Nick your boat is still bad ass, I want a ride in that thing. HL sorry we missed you maybe we could hook up on the next one. We really need to get back out there before the boat goes back to Havasu for the summer. :)

Hey Nic and David,
How was the ride to and from? Looks like it was pretty smooth

Havasu Luvr
03-01-2004, 01:47 PM
Hey Eric
I got out in breakwater about 10:30 and for the first 17-20 miles it was ROUGH. 4-6' swells and 2-3' wind chop. Almost turned around. The last few miles it smoothed out. The return trip was nice. No white caps and traveling with the swells.

Needless to say ..... you aired it out a few times, yeah?
Most of the times I've gone over, it's been the opposite .... swells in the morning, add wind chop in the afternoon.
That was a huge turnout for a run ... lot's of fun.

Thanks for the pics Kevin, I had a great time and the water conditions were a great test for the boats at the higher speeds we were runnin'. :D Mark, we'll definately need to run them over to the island again before you take the boat back to Havasu. :)
