Anyone have the lowdown on getting a space for the summer at the Islander? The dreaded 2 yr wait list is well known. But are there any other suggestions for getting around this short of purchasing a park model?

I just spoke with Liz at the office. Yea the waiting list is long, she laughed when I told her we have "friends" that want to come in for the summer 6 months. Obviously I have no pull! Maybe someone else on the boards knows some tricks/secrets. That is true, you can get right in if you buy a park model. Good luck with your quest.......

Hope this helps. We have a year round RV site there, and were lucky to get it and stay put in the same spot for the past 6 years. Good Luck...

I am renting a park model there this Summer. Should be a good time.
