Getting ready to purchase my exhaust for the SbC to BBC swap. Found a really good price on Lighning headers. What has everyones experience been with them?

Tee Hello Mr Tee... just had to say that! :) It really depends on your engine hp level? They are a very nice product for lower levels of performance! When you start making more hp like maybe 600 & up you would probably want to look at the imco power flow or something similar! There is another thread on this topic that may help! I'll find it & send it to you!

Yea that was some discussion.
Lightning has a 2" that they call their big tube.

I run lightnings on a 540, Edelbrock Victor 7760 CNC heads, 1471. I would guess about 850 HP
I have a couple of buddies running about the same set up,these headers work very well and you can't beat the price. For I believe an extra 150.00 they will powder coat them for you.
Internally they are stainless.
I believe they flow better then the power flow by Imco, The power flow plus are a step up.

I've got the monster stainless Lightnings and
they're awesome!! Lots of power & really cool
sounding. The first time we fired the boat up at
the marina ramp in Havasu right after the install
we surprised the hell out of everybody. I highly
recommend them.

Before I was running 4 to 6lbs boost, about 600
horses.
After the re-vamp we're projecting about 700
ponies & around 7 to 9lbs boost.

9to1 Static, I've ran as much as 12Pds with 32 total timing.
Normally run 7 to 8 with 30.
