You mean he has more than one screenname? Nah, it can't be. Say it isn't so...

I'm sure one of those guys can get you a 30 year fixed at 5.75...no points, no fees.

Actually...I just did a 5.75 APR w/no points no fees...I'm working on a 5.5 APR now.
Mike or Hoof should be able to handle that (just trying to help)!

SuperDave thanks for the plug. If you look at Havasu Hanging's chart you will see how and why you got that rate. It was on the best day possible. You scored.
Looks like HH is cutting his loans pretty thin in here. There are many loan officers that can help people out. This community of boaters is too small to have anyone tear thier head off on a rate. I am sure any one of the mortgage brokers would do a great job. I would just use me though :D :D
I put Oxbig into a fine mobile unit.

Well,
I might as well not pass up a chance for a little shameless self promotion. :D As Tony mentioned, I'm sure any of us here on the boards would do right by fellow board members. With that in mind, I'm also in the biz and am more than willing to answer any questions you may have. I like working tougher deals with a little "hair" on em, but I'm just as happy to help someone out with a vanilla 30 year deal too.

I have our Cali house and the Havasu house locked at 5%. I don't think I will ever see a rate like that again for a fixed mortgage.;)

Hey 1tricky1, what's your loan amount? What's the current balance on your loan you're going to pay off?
You may be able to get 5.75% or lower today with no points or fees if your loan is big enough. Generally, the bigger your loan amount is, the better the rate will be...assuming you don't go over a $333,700 gross loan amount.
Let me know, I'll email you a Good Faith Estimate. At least you can show it to whoever you're already working with to compare.

hey all, I'm a mortgage lender here in so cal. Today I have 30 year fixed rate at 0 points for 5.625% with no pre payment penalty and really low fees. If anyone is interested i can fax a good faith estimate so you can see my low fees. I can also pull your credit for no up front charge.

Wow! thanks everyone for your input. Seems like doing mortgage loans is real popular around here. JBG seems like a pretty cool dude....I'm gonna see what he can do for me. I just hope Mr. Oxbig didn't get offended;)
