too bad....that will most likely be the end of the unlimiteds. A great series but very expensive to compete. I think last year there were only about 7 or 8 entries per race event, and many of those operate on a shoestring.
Bernie must be rolling in his grave! His kid obviously wants the cash for other frivolous things.

That really sucks. The racing sure isn't very entertaining to watch on TV but in person those things are amazing! Too bad, Ms. Bud was probably the only thing holding the unlimiteds together.
I remember my dad taking me down to the detroit river to watch them run and he'd talk about the piston driven generation from back when he was a kid. Ms. Bud you will be forever remembered:frown:

It is too bad. I think Bud was commited to staying as long as Bernie was alive.
Now that he is gone, I think the unlimiteds are gone.:(
