Just wanted to thank Keith for all his input regarding my purchase. I was going to by a used 2500 until talking to him.
Steve the new rig has the 325hp/600fpt HO in it. I went with the six speed manual, and love it. I don't even feel my boat behind this rig.

How would you 6spd drivers characterize the shifting in that tranny? Mine still feels very "notchy" even after 7k miles, and the 2nd-3rd shift is so slow that a Yugo will walk away by the time the truck is back in gear and pulling. Is this normal?

That is one thing about where I work, nobody worthy of any back room antics. Besides, they love me. Lifetime tranny warranty. :D

There is no prouder moment than your first warranty claim on a Ford is there...
Us Dodge boys will just have to get used to the lonely life of driving by our dealership's with trouble free vehicles.:rolleyes:
