78Eliminator got hold of this guy who is in Fresno and said to have several 4 bolt blocks. His latest Ebay ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34202&item=2464158713

Hey Luvnlife,
I was wondering how far you can go with the 366- what's the max bore and max stroke without clearancing etc.?
Anybody know? I can't find my book on this stuff, if it even addresses this.

The word was always they won't bore to 4.250 which is standard 427/454 bore size. But some guys claim they are thick enough. I always passed them by and only bought 427 tall decks.

You are limited on bore size but I have been told by a couple of guys that played with the stroke that they got some good inches out of them. I asked them for the formula and never got it. Maybe someone here can chime in. It is not the regular formula they were stroking the motor but I think doing something with the pistonpin as in if they used a .250 rod but not a piston with the pin moved .250 but moved a different measurement. I am going to see this guy today and I will ask him again. I'll post later today what I find out. Cale.

I know some guy who has a few blocks in fresno. Look at the ebay ad above that Fiat posted. He seemed like a decent guy based on a couple conversations I had with him. Only problem is he likes his blocks a lot. Meaning, $700 worth. Anyway, time is money and if you need one quick, now you know where to go....
