These are way more fun. This is a 1929 Model A Ford (Doodle Bug) These are also called depression tractors. These were built in the 1940s as cheap tractors. They took Model As and cut the frames and made tractors out of them.
I bought this about a year ago. I just finished putting the motor and transmission together. I hope next weekend to take it for a ride.

That's so cool that you guys rescued it.
There was one on our neighbor's farm next to us- it was an old Chevrolet. Dad said that he and his family called them 'Hoover Tractors' in 'honor' of Pres Herbert Hoover.

I have rescued about three of them...:eek: Last night a guy gave me another one. Val Loves it when I drag them home.:rolleyes:
I will just cut off what I need and shit can the rest.
Jake can't wait to take it for a ride. I bought a ignition switch so he can't be taking joy rides when im not home.
The rear end has 6.75 ratio.......:eek: Stump puller for sure.
