This 76 Sanger v-drive that is listed on Ebay is up for auction by the same guy I got my Sanger circle race boat from last year.
I went over to his storage unit last year and checked it out and the boat is all taken apart and needs a complete restoration done on it.
There was so much stuff inside the boat and around the boat I could not really check out the condition of the floor and stringers.
The one thing I noticed was that someone had cut a 3" hole in the top of the deck to get access to the bow eye that had been toren loose. Under the deck is filled with the foam floatation.
At the time I talked with him about the boat I think he wanted $2500 for it.
He also had at that time alot of engine parts he wanted to sell which he still may have.
He had the complete blower & injection set up, EDP aluminum heads, GM iron heads, Steel cranks, etc.
Paul is a straight foward guy and is not full B.S. when it comes to his boats and the parts he has for sale.

He really should have disclosed that hole in the deck in the Ebay add. That would piss me off if I bought a boat off ebay and something like that was not disclosed.

Well, I'm high bidder again after the previous high bidder retracted his bid. We'll have to wait and see what happens. It's my understanding by the description in the Auction that it is a complete boat minus motor and the hull and trailer are in good condition. If I win it and get out there and the hull isn't in good shape...... well, let's just say that I can, and will, leave negative feedback and will also report to Ebay for false advertising. It doesn't say anything in the description about a hole....It had better have been patched up already

Yes, as long as it was done correctly. There's nothing wrong with hulls that have been repaired, as long as it has been done the right way.

It's up to $1075.00 now. I'm done ;) I didn't really want it anyways. I think it's a compulsive thing
