View Full Version : Buying a jet boat need help pls

I'm about to buy a boat I have about 40k and am looking for a New 21 foot jet boat these are the makers im looking at. Aftershock, Shockwave, Commander, Essex, and Ultra if i can afford an Ultra ;) was wondering what order you would put those makers in thanks in advance Rob, also are there are any other makers you would recommend in the San Diego area.;)

I don't think Essex offers jets, at least they didn't last summer.

well with a 40k budget, you should be in good shape in the 21' jetboat market. You might want to see if Ultra still has their "lightning" line. They were basically no option boats with more basic (still nice looking) gel schemes. When I say no option, I mean that they were equipped one or two ways as opposed to mix and match. They still came with a lot of nice standard equiment. Anyhow, buy one of those with upgraded power and a diverter, and you should be set.

That kind of cash would get you a real nice Eagle Jet Boat.
Check them out - you may just want to have the first one in your area.:D

A Shockwave 21 LS or 21 Skier are pretty solid choices depending on what size boat your looking for

Gator boats uses Eagle hulls also. They make some very nice lake type versions with open bows; Step bottom and Tunnels.
Here's a Gator version of the Eagle boat.
