Found this 96 DCB 234 tunnel, same as Eliminator Edge. 600 HP with a procharger for 29,500. Good Deal?

Just don't know if I could live with the colors. I believe it is at DCB. Has anyone seen it down there?

Make sure you drive it at WOT before deciding. Those hulls have been known to do some strange things at higher speeds...

No it said it is custom whatever that means. Looks to be a 454 or 502 MAG EFI.

I wouldnt buy it.Im not a vee bottom fan first off but thats just my opinion. If it had a HP500 in it,I might think differently on it.Not too fond of the other motors.
Check into it more if your serious about buying.

That's a pretty fugly boat for the money IMO. I hope it's not a DCB

That hull is a mod-v tunnel. I've heard good things about it as long as its setup correctly

ah, thanks. I saw it in the trader was debating to call or not. I would say I was leaning on "not", just a tad to colorful. Looked clean though.

Those color schemes were real popular in the mid 90's, but really date the boat now.

is that the same mold as the cheetah? what bad things do those hulls do at high speeds? would like to know before buying one

It is pretty much the same 'type' of design. My buddies cheetah runs 70 mph with a stock 454. Very efficient if you ask me.
THOR <--- does know if those are GPS numbers

No it's not the same mold. Similar design, but enough difference in the size and shape of the tunnes and sponsons so that the Cheetah is very stable, and the Edge is... well, um, different. I ran next to one that was doing about 75-80 through some light chop and the thing was all over the place, thought I was watching a V hull doing the chine walk! I've heard similar things from other people as well, so I don't think it's just me. Would be good to hear from an actual owner that had one with enough HP to get loose and get a first-hand driver's account. I know the Cheetah is stable because I had one that ran over 90, and a friend has one that runs a bit "better"!
