I see. How bout nerf bars. THey seem pretty sturdy? I've never had the regular ones but they just look like something to break.

I personally like the retractable ones by amp-research. They are full length running boards that retract under the doors and out of sight.

I got the retractable ones for my F350---sweet!!! You get the foot up step but don't loose any ground clearance or have the wind noise making loops hangin' down. By far my best buy on the truck.

Sorry, if it was an F-250 I could hook you up on a brand new set of stockers.

Those are Kodiak Sidewinder steps and they are expensive to buy and then costly to install. Nice if you have to have a hidden step solution.
I went with side tubes (some call them "nerf bars") made by Waag. They're high quality, tucked up high and almost impossible to hit on anything (unless you drive over a car) and not at all expensive.

You wuss, put 'em in yourself..it only took me about 1 1/2 hours a side..running the wires cleanly took the most time. Got mine wholesale(actually X-mas) for ~$175 each.

Toys for trucks does truck accessory stuff for our dealer as well as many others. They are mobile, and they deal to the public. Call James at 760 956-3525 , see what they can do for ya.
