10 East to the first exit in AZ, go left at end of off-ramp. Make a right at Stop sign and continue on that road for ~45 miles and it will drop you off at the South end of Parker. Make left, go to Arco, make right and continue up into the South side of Havasu.

Exiting at Rice Rd gets you way to close to the bathroom at that gas station:yuk:

The first exit on the AZ side is Ehrenberg. There will be a Flying J truck stop to your right.

Watch for cops going through Ehrenberg, they will stop you for just a couple over.

Went that way today, and your offramp is closed! Lots of construction as soon as you cross the river. If you don't take Rice Road, you'll have to go to Quartsite.

Rice Road is now known as Death Row. I now always take the 10 to the 95 into Parker and in on to Havasu. Just my .02

OR If big rig drivers fall asleep at the wheel after a crystal meth binge
That is what happened to good family friends of mine a whole family of four was whiped out
they weren"t even on rice road
ironically the driver took the other route instead of rice road because he thought it would be safer
I think he took the 95

For the ride home yesterday morning I took the 95 South AZ side through Quartzite to the 10, this took 3 hours 20 minutes to Palm Springs...then 2 hours to Simi. For some reason right now I like this route/time when compared to the 40 route...:D

Psssstttttt...... don't tell anyone else, but take the 40 to Mountain Springs, head south thru Amboy to 29 Palms.

It is a little bit longer than teh 15/40 route or the Rice Road route, but to me it is just such an easier drive.

I don't think it is that much longer if at all...

Al'Co, don't go through Quartzite....go Parker to Ehrenberg to the 10 or Rice Road...From Parker to Simi without traffic is 4.5 - 5 hrs....Quartzite you add an additional 20-30+ minutes..
When you get to the stop light in Parker, coming from Havasu, turn right and over the bridge to get to Rice Road, or turn left and go the next light before the Chevy Dealer and make a right at the road that says it will take you to Ehrenberg...I have clocked going the back way through Pearblossom or 58 and going out the 10 to Rice or Ehrenberg is much shorter....I always go Rice unless I just feel like kicking back, I will go Ehrenberg..
If you don't turn right at the Chevy dealer, you will continue towards Quartzite and go out of your way.
