We don't have the 22LS, but love our 21' Step Skier. I don't think you could go wrong with any Shockwave boat. Best of luck in your choice. Shockwave rules.

I don't know about the 22 but I just purchased a 25. Talk with Barry over there and see if he can arrange a demo ride. Although I have not taken mine on the water yet I can assure you that they will give you the personal attention you deserve. Very upfront staff over there at Shockwave.

I rode in ShockwaveHarry's boat last weekend and I was extremely impressed! There is a video of our trip over at RRL. The boat ran hard and handled rough water very well. Seemed stable at 80mph. Definitely a good solid bottom and ran well.

Did you look at the Ultra 22 Stealth as well? It seems to me the 22 Shockwave copied the 22 Stealth's Euro styling with more of a squared edge. I think the Stealth looks better than the Shockwave hands down.

I looked at the 22 SC before we purchased our Lavey Craft. Seemed like a very nice boat, though it was definitely much smaller - shallower with less storage then there 21 step skier. The staff there seemed like great guys. If you're looking for a low profile boat I think it would be a great choice.:D :D :D

I'd go for the 21 Skier. It's a bigger boat with more freeboard and storage. IMO it's better looking.

The Lexis is a little lower profile than the 21 Skier or 21 Step Skier. I believe they have two versions available. The cab forward model with the driver position moved forward in the boat and jump seats between the driver/passenger seats and the rear bench. The traditional deck has the driver and passenger side back further in the hull with no jump seats (much larger open bow area).
I would think the traditional deck would be a little faster on the top end due to less weight forward.
Can't go wrong with the Shockwave! :D :D

We tried to put our 21 Shockwave Skier in the double bay of our three car garage, and it would not fit. Between the outdrive and the swimstep, the bow stuck out about 6 inches. So now, the boat occupies all three bays of our garage, and the driveway is full of cars.

Sorry. The above post should have been in the "will it fit" thread.
