I don't usually watch series too much but I am really looking forward to watching Deadwood on HBO tonight. Went out there last year when I went to Sturgis and the town is really alive. At least during the Sturgis Run. This year Nodigg, myself and a few other friends are going to stayin Deadwood during the Sturgis run. I hope it is as good as advertised.
Anybody else looking forward to watching it?

Question:
How many times where "C$cksucker" and "F&ck" uttered on the first episode? Also...had to wait until the final minute for boobs to be shown!

I too was thinking that back then they weren't saying **** all the time. Anyhow, I think about 20 minutes in I fell out so I missed most of it :(

You know I'm all for a more realistic depiction of how the old west life was lived.. but for some reason I'm struggling to believe that people actually talked like that? I thought they went overboard on the profanity a little bit, but overall I think your right. :) Another HBO hit is in the making here. :)
Favorite line of the show was..
"You figure that was me or you Montana?"
"My money'd be on you."
What do you figure the odds are that this "x" lawman from montana is going to end up being Wyatt Earp?

The character's name of the ex-marshal from Montana is Seth Bullock.
See This on Seth Bullock (http://www.heartofdeadwood.com/seth.htm)
So...no...I don't think He's Wyatt Earp.

The folks behind Deadwood did a lot of research and specifically on the language (they have been questioned about the profanity) and apparently that was how they talked. Pretty creative swearing from what I heard last night. :D

What???? You didn't like Steve Buschemi getting the shotgun blast? I thought it was a subdued season finale for the Sopranos but still better than last season's.
