I'm stoked to say that I will be there Saturday, and only Saturday, but am testing the boat I hope to buy- a 25 Howard Bullet. Dr Marg is coming thru- thanks! And yeah, and going to look at some land in the afternoon with Warlock25 (Michelle). Should be a great time, hope to see some of you.

Yeah, no kidding. I have been talking to Michelle for a couple of weeks. Definately not what I originally expected, but I think with a little more research I have a couple good possibilities. But we'll see, either way it'll be fun.
I've already experienced this "sticker-shock" on the Howard more than once too...hence the reason I don't have one yet.
I have heard you are very knowledgable on land and real estate out there (per the Marg), I'd like to chat after my visit if you don't mind.

Sure thing. We'll be in LHC this weekend as well so stop by and say howdy! We'll predominantly be in Steamboat early each day. We tend not to stay on the lake too late in the afternoon so you need to catch us early.

I wish I were going - but I still have the snow birds for another week, then it's off to DC and NYC for spring break with the kids, so our first trip won't be for another month!!!:(

I will be out with the wife for the weekend and we are looking to meet some of the people from the boards. It seems like I can always get friends to go to the lake, but never friends with a boat...so I am always at capacity. I would prefer to hang with some people who also have a boat so they understand what it is like to deal with all of those that do not. Made it back from a trip to the river. Thurs and Friday was great days on the river. But I have no idea about Saturday because my FOCKING BMAX took a shit friday night. 7:00 at night no chop crusing around 3200 rpms with only 550hp and she takes a shit...
It looks like the lower bearing on the vert. shaft took a dump and got way hot heating the shaft (blued the shaft big time) an snapping it perfectly in half. :mad: At least sunday was blown over so it was not that bad not having my boat out there :D KELLY

We were fine going downstream. But comming back upstream was a kidney buster for us. Another reason that is suggesting our next boat project to be deeper hull... It was quite in copper canyon on Sun.
