So this douchebag supposedly knows all about the supposed "shortcomings" of the govt before 9-11...but mysteriously he waits until last week to talk about it. Oh, did I forget to mention his revelations came out one day before his book? People like this suck ass. And then he goes on to say that the Clinton administration warned Bush about the threats posed by Bin Laden. Well of course they did! They let the guy skate no less than five times so they had to know he was still out there! I would have to say that letting this guy testify before congress is a bad idea. Ever heard of "conflict of interest"? Of course he's gonna say bad things when he benefits financially. He should have vented his concerns to somebody a long time ago so we could improve our security systems. His parting shot was to say that "your government let you down." No, Mr. Clark, it had a little more to do with fanatics bent on killing Americans than it did a goverment shortcoming.

Plain and simple, he didn't get the job he wanted, so he's stopping his feet and pointing fingers. Tipical of someone who worked under Bill Clinton for 8 years.

You should read a book called "The Terrorist Hunter"
The you will be really pissed. The person that wrote that was onto that shit years before it happend and no one would listen.
It's a good read too.

so they want to blame Bush for not being pre-emptive enough on 9/11
but at the same time they complaint that he was too pre-emptive in Iraq.

He's another example of why incoming Presidents should NEVER holdover anyone from the previous Prez's administration.
If the guy's info was so valuable why did he wait to release it in his book! Clearly this guy's 5 pounds of $hit in a 1 pound bag.

And if Gore was President, we would still be discussing and consulting with the French and Germans on an appropriate response to take for 9/11. Bush is the only one who has stepped up to the plate and kicked some ass!!

Clarke served with W's dad before Clinton. I think he got his start under Ronnie Raygun. How about the medicare budget under-reporting of the costs that came out today. That person had his job threatened if be blabbed. His boss is now gone and W got his bill passed, but medicare will be out of money by 2030.
