I am, too bad I am still v-drive boatless. Working on that.
I went by Billy B's shop earlier this week and took some pictures of a boat ready to be picked up. Thought I would give you a sampling of the eye candy you will to see in Needles, or what you will miss if you are staying home.

Bobby had it all rubbed out, these pictures don't do it justice, the paint shines so good, it looks wet. The first shots I took were inside and they just don't compare to the sunlight shots.

That man is a true artist. Can't wait 'till we can have ours painted by him, but first we need to build a new motor:D

OUCH:eek: !!! Well then I gues we'll have to get together before the regatta because I wouldn't want to be in conflict with your oil changing/milkshake making seminars. Or maybe we can unite and have a double fisted drinking seminar:D

I am up for the drinking seminar!! Just insure Jack Black brings his big straw, you now the one he used to use to bail the water from the boat befre you installed the J-Drains.....

It takes alot of time to take and post pictures online. I took these shots because I like the work BB does. He is a good guy and I thought I would show off something that looks sweet. I wish I could do it.

Personally, I say BB is overrated.
I know this guy up in Nor Cal that does way better work.....Less problems with the "help" also.....

He gave me his color ideas and turned me loose with just a few minor guidelines. Customers like that are a joy to do work for. He came by during certain stages and he did see the final layout before any paint was applied. He saw the final product just before these pictures were posted and he couldn't believe it. When you (the customer) see it lined out in tape you kinda think how it's gonna look in you head. But 9 out of 10 times there amazed how different it looks compared to how they pictured it. It's also can be a scary time (for me) when the see it for the first time also, will they be pissed or will the love you for it?. Lucky for me he loved it.:cool:
