Its to much cam for your deal. Go to dome piston or shave the heads and use the .020 steel shim gasket. I don't remember the amount of valve relief but I only have .090 of piston to valve clearance. Thats mighty close.

With valve lash and pushrod deflection, you may have more actual than .090. I have gotten away with .065. Not comfortable, but got away with it.

That was setting it at 0 lash and adding lash in afterwards.
PM your number Fiat, I have some ideas....could be bad ones though.

I'm running a Clay smith 510/246@050 single pattern. I wanted a 3 bolt cam, not to many mildly hot cams with 3 bolts. This cam has a good power curve 3000-6500rpm.

Call Comp cams ,give them your info.........they are very helpful. One of the main reasons I keep using them is the customer service. Cam Help#1-800-999-0853.

I just ordered a custom cam from Compcams.(around 250º's @.050) But If you want a good and not over priced cam Look up the cams that Mopar Performance have they have two .528"/239º with a 112lc or a .557"/252º with a 110lc. I don't know your peak rpm
