I just watched the east coast feed on ABC. It was pretty interesting how the government can spin things with federally funded testing that years later turns out to be worthless. The scientist were testing the effets of MDMA on monkeys and later said they mistakenly injected them with amphetamines due to a labeling problem. That's a pretty good study. I wonder, does the government get their money back? It will be on at 10pm on the west coast if anyone wants to watch it.

Just watched it Matt. Another reason not to trust what the government says. It's funny how the doctor said it was a labeling problem that messed up the study, but the labeling company said there was no problem with their labeling.
My brother saw a friend we went to high school with on the channel 7 news last summer. She was arrested at a local airport for smuggling Ecstasy into the country, somewhere around 10,000 pills. I don't think we'll be seeing her at our 10 year reunion that we have coming up.

I watched it too, I think the government study came out just how the government wanted the study to come out. The researcher is probably a rich man, but nobody will ever prove that he was paid off under the table. I could be wrong though...

You would think that the government might think things through a little better. When they start telling the nation or world for that matter that one dose of Ecstacy can kill you or give you parkinsons disease, or eats holes in you brain and you have a world full of people say WTF is the US government talking about, you have to wonder how much other stuff they say is BS. Not that I'm anti-government or anything, I love this country but at least let's give us citizens some credit. I thought is was interesting how one doctor said more people die from prescription or over the counter drugs yearly than from "X". I think maybe we should inject some monkeys with sleeping pills and no doze see what happens. :)

It's also good to know from the government that pure X is the best to use. According to the study, your brain returns to its normal self after 2 months anyways. Watch out because the cheap stuff may be mixed with other chemicals that may be harmful to your health and have irreversable side effects. That being said, I guess you just have to make sure you're asking for pure X from your local street Pharmacist, tell them the government says the generic brand is not gonna cut it anymore.

Very good point. Just think, it all started in Dallas by some Reverand and he sold it legally for years to cowboys and made a ton of money. You could buy it over the counter at bars and nightclubs. I could just see it now. "Hey partner, feel my belt buckle, it feels so cool" :)
On a side note, are you gonna make it out for Easter weekend? We are going to celebrate the ressurection of Christ at the sanbar over some cold ones. Is that bad? :( :D

They used to tell us in the 70's that if you did acid you would get "flashbacks" later on. I'm still waiting for my free trip! :D

I like to take a few days off, get a top floor room at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas.
I throw open the sliding glass door to the outside,, kick my feet up on the railing, and enjoy the hot desert Vegas breeze contrasting with the rooms A/C, room service and a rum drink in my hand,,, taking in the awsum view.
Down below, on the Hard Rocks side entrance, an ambulance arrives every 20 minutes to an hour to pick up drug'd out 22 year olds.
The hotel security says it's usually an Ecstasy user, and their hear beat is so fast the valves barely have time to close,, and if they don't get immediate medical attention, the valves won't close, they'll die, some do.
You can argue pot and booze and get no reaction from this kid,,, and far be it from me to defend getting a buzz on,, but Ecstasy and the powders,,, bad stuff my friends,,, way bad stuff,,
Those I respectfully disagree with will have to find out the hard way.

I got the truck back so I'm hoping we get out there. I didn't make any reservations because we weren't to sure how we were gonna get it down there without a tow vehicle. I'm gonna call around and see what's available. I don't know if Ms. EduKATor is gonna make it, her dad has a sky box for the season opener at the new SD Ballpark. I'm not a baseball fan, so it might just be my bro and I. O well more hurricanes for us.

I think what makes it so dangerous is because it is illegal and there is such a high demand everyone wants to get in on the action and make some money. Then they start cutting it with a bunch of bad shit that can definitely kill you in one dose. I don't think "pure MDMA" could kill you, but unless you know the pharmacist making it, you run the risk.

I tried that stuff back in college a couple of times. My whole apartment building did it all at once. It was pretty fun cuz all our friends were there and everybody was tweaking together.
The love in the room was amazing. No anger, no fear, no anxiety. Tactile feelings completely heightened. Back then the girls all wore denim mini skirts and Reeboks.....This was back in the late 80's.....before they had AIDS.....
I will spare you the details, but I have to admit it was a lot fun...........:cool:

I'm not posting here to be an advodcate. I've never done acid, so i I feel for the guy who is still waiting for his flash back but until you have experianced X it's kind of hard to knock it. BTW, I just got home and I am f@cked up! Believe me, lots of edits!!!!

I remember back in college I had escorted a friend to one of her sorority dances. At the end of the night, or early morning I should say, I remember walking into our hotel room and seeing a few girls who were rolling on E. They aren't kidding about it being a hug drug.
So a few weeks later it was one of those when Harry met Sally moments, "I'll have what she's having kinda thing." But I thought I try some herbal X that was legal and is sold at almost every adult novelty store. There were even infomercials on TV for the stuff I bought. What a waste of $50 bucks.
