Just wondering if any of you guys know of someone who could build me a bracket to attach my fuel filter onto my stringer. I bought a billet clamp to hold the fuel filter, but now need to make a bracket so I could install the clamp on my stringer. I thought that the billet clamp would have through holes in it to install screws, but it didn't. Anyhow, here is a picture of it. It has two threaded holes on it and are size 5/16-24 and are spaced 3/4" apart from one another. I would like to have it mounted as close to the srtinger as possible, as flush as it can be.

Here I am,
I could do that, Now I see why you can't use the clamp it came with. I could come by and pick it up, or if you can measure the OD accurately that would work too.
Do you want to use one clamp, or two(one on each end)?

Why not just through-bolt through the stringer into that bracket?

Brendella,
I don't have access to the other side of the stringer.

Brian,
I don't need the clamps made. I already bought this one, not knowing you would be able to make one for me. Anyhow, I need a bracket that I could attach this clamp onto (it has two threaded holes size 5/16-24 that are spaced 3/4" from each other) and have the bracket attached to the stringer with screws. Hope that make sense. If not, the diameter of the fuel filter is 2", if you wanted to start fresh.

Cheap alternative, if last resort, get some aluminum angle at HD or Lowes and butt two small pieces against each other. ie: first one to your stringer, second on your billet clamp, then join the two. Lot of holes to drill... but hey... it's aluminum, no biggie. Just to get you going anyway.
