Hello to everyone,
I am new to this forum and suspect this has already been addressed, but being new I have no idea of what has been discussed before, I have a 1990 Mirage 211 Tovare, it is in like new condition and handles the water well, however it has the 350 mag engine, and of course I would like
to go faster, have been looking around and found Weiand makes a small supercharger that I have been cosidering, however I need input before I spend that kind of money. Has anyone else ever done this, from what I have researched I have found that I will need a ignition module from a v6 engine to lower total advance, richen carb, and install supercharger, I have measured and found there to be enough room under the hatch, do I need any other mods or will this combo be dependable
Thanks in advance
Larry J

procharger makes a nice kit for the 350mag. go to there website. fits well under the hatch. easy on the outdrive and great speed and power increase. look into it. good luck

I bolted a B&M 144 on a 350 mag and it was the most trouble free motor I ever owned. Excuse me, It was the most trouble free "BLOWER" motor I have ever owned. I got my (and sold for that matter) 144 for 1100.00 A whipple would perform much better in my opinion than the 144, but it costs more also.
Good luck ------------ Tee
P.S. "If it isn't BLOWN! ---- It SUCKS!!!!!?????"

I have bolted a 144 on an unprepared 350 before. It woke it up quite a bit. Put a smile on anyone that rode in it.
Pay close attention to the tune up.

LARRY J You will need to set total timing to 30 degrees, and go with thru-hull exhaust and a better mechanical fuel pump.B&M(Holley) is a better overall package than the procharger in my opinion. You don't have the goofy box over the carb. for one thing. AND I just happen to have a brand new 144 new in box I would sell for $1900.This kit is COMPLETE with crank pulleys and spacer.10 rib belt,t-stat housing, intake, gaskets and marine belt tensioner. You can run the 4-5 lb. pulley if you don't flog it all day long.

O.k. fine,$1899.And you'll probably want to get a Holley 80557 carb,'bout $550.

Long water pump or short water pump version?

Not 100% positive but believe it's the long.Nicer kit than they sold a couple years back, very complete and crank pulley setup is nicer with 3 groove pulley and correct length spacer.

Larry, just my 2* but Holley also has a 177 size blower for about what a 144 costs and would not have to work as hard to get the boost you want. I ran one at 3:1 over and never tore it up...Motor went before it did. :D
