The new Eagle is 95% done now. We put it in the water yesterday for the first run and it ran great. This boat has the old ZZ4 engine and used Berkley pump. I was running a beat up steel "B" impeller. 35 glns of fuel, 2 guys in the boat and we hit 71 MPH on GPS. Set up tuning will get a couple more. Not bad overall for a little cruiser.

That's great performance considering a small block with that much cargo.
That would qualify for a sleeper.
How much $$$$ is a hull like that?

Looks real nice and sounds like some great numbers for a first outing.
Haha and yea the real colour isn't so bad afterall ;)

Thanks gents, I'm pretty happy with the boat and it's performance. I'm sure that will get a few more MPH out of it with a good impeller and fine tuning the wedge. This boat is also getting a 100 HP Nitrous kit just for an extra smile every now and then.
Unchained, the bare hull would be somewhere around 7500 US. :D

I am really digging that boat. Looks like a blast. I went on a Rogue Jetboat tour up the Rogue River in Oregon. This was a huge jetboat that seated like 30 people maybe. Anyway, that was my first experience of going 45-50 mph over 3 inches of water. Amazing.
