BLEW TWO SUB WOOFERS LAST YEAR AT LH. HAVE A PIONEER STEREO XM READY 4 6" PIONEER MARINE SPEAKERS, 2 PUNCH SUB WOOFERS, AND 2 FOSGATES AMP BOTH PUSHING ABOUT 800. GAINS TURNED ONLY TO ABOUT 30%. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST SUB WOOFERS TO GET. WE LISTEN TO A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING. EMINEN BLEW THE TWO SUBS WE HAVE. WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE BEST WE CAN AFFORD.
LOOKED AT FOCAL, SOUNDED GREAT, BUT DON'T KNOW IF THEY CAN HANDLE THE PUNISHMENT.
ALL THE HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

We usually use Rockfordor JL woofers in the boats we do They both perform very well under severe abuse. what size/ kind of boxes are you using? I would be willing to look at your boat and give you some advice on what to do, if you are willing to bring it by my shop feel free to call me (909)481-8411

I agree with RVR
JL Audio is the ticket. It is a good all around speaker that can handle just about any box or type of music. I have a single 12" pumped by a 500 watt Fosgate amp. It is in a bandpass box and it never ceases to impress everyone around.
The 12w6 a the one I run, but if you want top notch go with the W-7 series. Check the JL website because it's been a while since I've looked at their products.

Those are a very well built speaker.. I'd say over built for the amount they retail for...

three things to remember .
1- distortion kills more speakers than power.
2- professional products produce professional results.
3- if your speakers cant play it your ears cant hear it .
