No, I havent seen your old friend but I have been riding her older sister 1971 Schiada, red also. And I might add she sure is as fast as ever. I just have alittle problem after about 85 or so she wants to start jumping out of the water. Did the younger sister have the same bad habbits?:)

that looks like the boat that Brad P has.
It's safe and sound and is sporting a big blown engine these days.

Cory, how's it hangin? Come to Parker and go for a putt in the old girl.
The boats sportin a new chiller now too.:D
Sangerboy, you were right. There was some chit in the "t" that I think was causing the fuel problem. I pulled it all apart and found three pieces of RED rubber in the lines. Two right at the T and one at the 90 off one tank. The lager one at the T was wedged sideways and would "flap" like we thought might be happening. I guess the pump didn't draw enough to make it "flap" shut but backing out of it at WOT did?????????
What the hell is this crap anyway? It's about 3/16" thick, red on one side with a very thin gray layer on one side with a checked pattern in the gray. It feels like silcone rubber. It is not the lines as they are black and not deteriorating. Did anyone ever make braided lines that were red rubber? Cory, did you chew up a flip flop and spit it in the tank?:D
Hope there's not more floating around the system somewhere. I've gotta get a bore scope and look in the tanks.

Brad,
What's up man. She sure is lookin purdy. I think the red she-it in the tank is from the hose that goes from the filler cap to the tank inlet. The guy that owned the boat before me used a cheap red/blue or grey hose instead of the correct thick fuel stuff that has a wire support in it. I forgot about that untill just now. I was at Havasu and started to smell gas, after looking for the problem i discovered it when I pulled her out of the water and the tanks were sloshing around. When replacing the hose i discovered why he used the cheap stuff. It was a bitch, i did'nt want to take the tank out so i put it in through the actual hole and had to open it up a little to get the correct hose through. I think I only replaced one side. You might want to check that out.
So anyway's are you happy with the boat? I'm currently buying a 29 ft Shockwave. It should be done the first of June. Let's stay in touch. I'd like to meet up and go for a ride-drink beerz and cus. Some friends of mine have a house at parker so i'm sure we'll be there this summer. Let me know if you have any questions about the boat. I'd be glad to help.

Thanks!
I checked the filler hose (one side only) when looking for the source. I guess I checked the side that you replaced. I hope it's not deteriorating on the other side that tank would be a bitch to pull out.:(
I'll let you know when we're going to be at the strip.
You can't bring your ocean boat though!:D :D

All Right! A race I can win for sure!
19.5,
I'm runnin the blown BBC in the pic but added a chiller and bumped the boost to 10#'s when I only made it to 90 mph on the GPS. Didn't GPS but we feel pretty certain it's over a hunny now.:D
Will be going to taller gears when I verify what I've got.
Lose the bronze/nibral prop and get a steel or a stainless steel, they don't handle horse power well.
RICK J GET OFF THE PIPE!! YOU BURNED YOUR BITCH AGAIN!!!:D :D

Man, you have to be taxing that brass (nybral) prop to it's limit. You should think about getting a good steel prop on there before that brass one comes apart on you.
