I installed water crossovers on my Whippecharged 454's and lost 10 pounds of block pressure. I have both the standard Bravo water pickup as well as a low water pickup. I didn't think I would lose any pressure. Any help would be appreciated.

If its water, which i asume it is, you do not need much, As long if you don't overheat.
We have seen as low as 3 lbs, which is fine. the key is the temp. hope this helps.

Its the water pressure that dropped to 8 from 18 pounds. I now have it up to 12 by installing a restrictor plate in the thermostat housing. According to the Whipplecharger people they want good water flow to keep the blocks cool and 10 to 20 pounds pressure to force out any steam pockets thus preventing denotation.
Thanks for your intrest.
