alpha one genII knocking noise

i have a 99 chaparral with an alpha one gen II out drive that knocks only under hard turns with the outdrive trim down. i have had the u joint replaced and the gimball bearing...help!!!

Did they align the drive with the engine when they did the work?

My 95 Baja does the same thing. If you only pull the out drive why
would you need to realign the engine?
The engine should only need to be aligned if you pulled the bell
or gimble right????

yes they where supposed to alighn the engine when the work was done. and i even purchased the tool and rechecked it myself.
all seems to be ok. but it still knocks:mad: :mad:
