Since I was bored I figured I'd ask more annoying questions;
You dudes think this jet has been set back? Looks pretty far back to me, but wtf do I know?

Always thought mine was on the light side but now I don't know . I'll have my best opportunity to get the hull weight this weekend so that will be one of my goals. Any scales in the long beach area?

Hey! That's my boat....what's it doing over here? :D
tape = 18' DMV = 19' WTF?
The back of this one is much different than Don's and probably the other 2 also. This one is a lot more rounded, like the Rogers.

AdOD,
It's a 1984. According to Old Rigger and a couple of others, it has the Bahner Tunnel hull top with the Roger's 18' bottom. I think it's similar to the Roger's TR bottom. Apparently it's a real fast bottom that doesn't have the delta pad.
At this point I know nothing about how it rides or how fast it is. I'm real close to having it done enough to take it out for a maiden run though.

Dave at DNE (next door to Jack) has a scale on his hoist. Don't know how much it will take, but maybe Jack could tell you if the boat could be slung to the scale and weighed really quick. Something tells me that it wouldn't be the first time someone's used it for that :)

my boat is registered as a 19-footer and advertised as a 19' by Roger. It measures 18.7-inches i think.
The bottom of that bahner does look alot like a Rogers bottom.

Ok weekend is now over and here is what I found out about my Bahners Bottom & hull weight. 1st I didn't get a chance to weight the hull I didn't have enough time and was too tired to make the effort. 2nd after alot of pouring over the bottom it turns out my boats bottom is a splash of the Southwind with a delta pad added. Some Bahners had the rogers bottom and some are like mine. It now is minus the delta pad and should run alot better.
Don ******still really tired*****

Southwind ?...
Your Bahners Bottom looks like mine except mine has a Bubble on the delta just before the intake. My gut feeling is that mines a Splash of a Southwind too.

Most of the good boats did copy southwind,thats why your boat is so good:cool:

Mark what Jim said x10. You guys really impressed me I don't know if I would have done the same (hope I would). It was really nice to meet Randy and the gang and chew the fat on jets some. Man I'm still a bit fuzzy from the trip, I ended up adding a little drama to it at the very end and didnt' get home till around 12:30 last night so I'm not right yet. I hope we didn't get in the way too much of you dropping in your motor.
good luck and thanks again, Don
PS anyone need some slightly used tires:D
