Just for those of you who own a 2000-2004 GMC full size pick-up.. I received a recall notice today for a cable in the tailgate that could break due to corrosion.. Just a heads up for those of you who own one and a warning not to sit on it while open.. ;) till it is fixed.. :D

Shit!!! mine broke not too long ago but its a new body 99 serria. I wonder if that will still be covered. Thanks for the info. I'm gonna call the dealership.

FYI I called my dealer and they said that the replacement cable will not be ready untill late summer. Whats up with that GM??
