Saturday I woke up and my Lifeline vest was stolen out of my boat. Its a Large Yellow so be on the luckout for some losers trying to sell it.
Also I just talked with Todd from Jokers Wild and his 2 lifeline vests were also stolen out of his boat. One was a large black with red trim and red and orange stripes on the chest. The other was his girlfreinds a small all red with blue accents.
This all happened at the Nautical.

Nautical is getting more and more problems. I think next time I have my boat in the cove, I'm going to let my youngest son "sleep" on the boat. He and his uncles "Smith and Wesson" might enjoy the evening.
I need a new anchor anyway. I hear the lake is really deep at times.:D

It used to be our stainless prop's that disappeared. Now that we have them secure the douche bags are looking for something else that is easy to take and there is a market for.

Yeah its a real bummer. Definitly no respect. My vest was new so I didnt put any markings on it yet. Just remember to ID your stuff that way if it does turn up you know its yours. Next time I will have my son or freind sleep on the boat. It sucks that you have to worry about crap like this but to some people Theft is a job and they are very good at it.

No good Deano,
This season has been one really bizarre start.
Getting hassled by punks during spring break.
Some freaky weather
Boat thiefs
And just think we just started boating season.

I remember when you used to be able to just go out have your fun during the day and if you were too drunk or too tired to get everything out of the boat you just tied it up and took care of it in the morning and you probably just left the keys in the ignition or tossed them under the seat.
Now when I go out I only take the stuff I am willing to carry up at the end of the day, do a walk thru of the boat to make sure everything is out, grab the "boat purse" with the cash and fuel cards, take the keys and hope it is still there in the morning.
Thes kids/punks nowdays have zero repsect for others property and only deserve and respect the ass kicking they should all get. Sometimes there is a place for vigilanty justice.
Sorry to hear you are the victim of sorry little pricks.

We gotta watch each other's stuff. In parking lots, coves, etc. you see people that for any reason look suspicious - question them. Make them prove to you it's their boat. Don't be insulted if you are in a parking lot in your boat sometime and some fellow boater wants to know what you are doing. Once I was out in a casino parking lot at midnight in my boat looking for my wife's make up bag and two guys came over and wanted me to prove it was my boat. "What are ya doing in there bud?" was what one of the guys asked me. I told them and proved to them it was my truck and boat and gave them both kinda cold beers out of the ice chest. I now do that every chance I get -- walk around the parking lots late at night. For the most part the security guards are worthless (There are exceptions.) so it's basically up to us to watch each other's stuff. I still leave my stuff out in the coves at night once in a while - of course I'm gonna get burned sooner or later. buff. Oh yeah - a security guard at The Riverside told me to carry a cheap throw away camera with me when you are walking the parking lot and if you have a confrontation with thieves take their picture and give it to the local police. Chances are they will recognize some local tweaker asshole thief. Better yet beat the hell out of them and THEN take their picture!

You know deep down inside of me I knew someday someone would steel from my boat. I just didnt expect it at a poker run. From now on I'll just take most of the stuff off my boat(Tools, vests, cds. etc). My advice to everyone is if its something you're going to miss take it off your boat when you're done for the day.

that really sucks Deano-
i have never had a problem out there, except for the kids we caught letting boats loose last year (we caught them and called the cops after grabbing the boats before they drifted off)
hope to see you out there this weekend, i'm leaving around 3am on friday. Emily wont be off work until 4pm (she is heading out with my buddy)

This is exactly the reason I was asking about a secure engine hatch..........you could lock that stuff up.
Sorry to hear about it....do you think the thieves came down because of the Poker Run? I mean knowing that there would be a lot of high dollar boats and toys around???

What's the matter with you!!!!
Just leave a picture of your "fighter "from your website on the seat of your boat and NO ONE will EVER touch it!
Better yet airbrush him on the deck!

Get a real good Baby Monitor and put half in your boat - half in the room.
Than when they go in the boat you will hear them. I have heard of guys doing this for parking lots in local hotels and homes when the ride does not fit in the garage.
Don't think it would help much in Laughlin:confused:

If anyone walks near my boat...it starts chirping.
If you try to get in, the alarm goes off.
Ironically...there's nothing of value in my boat except the alarm...
